A well-thought-out gift shows gratitude to your visitor at your booth. But what is a good promotional giveaway? And how do you continue the conversation online after the trade show and direct customers back to your website.

1. Chocolates

Yes, that's right chocolates! Chocolate goes well with coffee or espresso. While not everyone can afford a barista at their booth, I can guarantee that the prospect who stood in line to get a freshly brewed latte will be looking for a small sweet to compliment their hot beverage. And voila there you have a visitor at your booth with coffee in hand ready to talk with you about your products and services.

You can additional chocolates that are branded for the customer to take home with them, to eat later, or to bring back home to their family.

2. Polo Shirts and T-Shirts

We are what we wear. Or at least fashion is a part of our identity. Even better when it becomes our brand identity. And because fashion has the power to express our brand identity, the quality of the polo shirts and t-shirts has to be premium quality. It is not uncommon to pay a ridiculously high price for anything to eat and drink at a trade show. At least your customers can get a fresh glas or bottle of water at your booth. You can easily brand water bottles with your brand.

It's just hard to explain that feeling you get when you are drinking your favorite hot beverage out of your favorite mug in front of your computer in the morning. The post card is very versatile. While it has information about your business and what you do, it gives you the opportunity to use it to advertise your brand. Why not add a promo code to the postcard and direct customers to special offer website. Or how about a fun ad that your customer will remember and keep.

The one pager flyer is perfect for customers who are one step further and are looking for more information about your business, your products and your services.

9. Brochure Magazine

The brochure magazine takes the one pager flyer to the next level. While it is not a white paper, it does take a closer look at certain aspects of your business, products and services.

10. Stickers for Sealing Envelopes

After a conference, most companies send out mass emails thanking their visitors for stopping by at their booth. Why not stand out from the masses with a personalized hand-written letter in a sealed envelope. Admittedly, it is not only about the branded sticker sealing the envelope. It's about the whole experience of getting personalized mail.
